Improvements in the C. Macedonia Network

The project involves local improvements on the railway network, such as Underpasses, Railway Stops and Railway Bridges.

In more detail, the project includes the following:

• Railway Stop in Neos Panteleimonas, Pieria

The project involves a new railway stop to be built on the Double-Track High-Speed Railway Line Athens – Thessaloniki in Platamonas area, after the exit of Platamonas Castle tunnel, under the existing footbridge.

• Railway Bridge in Gallikos river

The project involves the construction of a new railway bridge at Ch. 9+184 of the Thessaloniki – Florina railway line, which is planned to replace the existing steel bridges.

• Construction of Grade-Separated Road Crossing in the area of Veria R.S.

The project involves the construction of a grade-separated crossing near Veria Railway Station, in order to serve vehicles coming from Veria R.S., as well as the restoration of traffic in the areas on either side of the railway line.

• Construction of Grade-Separated Road Crossing in in the area of Gefyra Railway Station

The project involves the construction of a grade-separated crossing near Gefyra Railway Station, in Thessaloniki. It includes the construction of a regional road Overpass, over OSE’s group of lines, and the construction of retaining walls in the access ramps.
