In particular, by decision of the Board of Directors of ERGOSE, the open procedure for the selection of 6 Technical Consultants for the Competitive Dialogue projects and 1 Technical Consultant for the existing and new contracts to be put out to tender through the competitive tender procedure was launched.
At the same time, the ERGOSE Board of Directors approved last Friday the minutes of the six projects of the Competitive Dialogue, according to which all the pre-selected candidates of the first tender phase, meet the necessary conditions and criteria for participation in the Dialogue.

With the completion of these six key projects, the upgrading of the country’s main railway axis will be achieved, with the main features being improved safety, increased reliability of the railway and, consequently, the attraction of more transport work than road transport. It will also achieve the interconnection of the country’s main ports with the main railway axis and strengthen the cross-border rail link with the rest of south-eastern Europe.
It is noted that the criterion for awarding the contract is the “most economically advantageous tender” on the basis of best value for money. The selection of the Contractor will be made in accordance with the “open procedure” of article 264 of Law no. 4412/2016 and under the conditions of this law.
The President and CEO of ERGOSE Mr. Christos Vinis noted: “The selection of Technical Consultants is extremely important as they will complement ERGOSE’s experienced staff, enhancing the ability to implement projects. We are proceeding with all the necessary procedures in time to meet the timetables we have set for the modernization of the Greek railway”.
