RECERTIFICATION OF CORPORATE QUALITY SYSTEM ACCORDING TO THE ISO 9001:2015 STANDARD
ERGOSE demonstrates its commitment to the effective and reliable execution of the important role it has undertaken for the modernization of the Greek railway network by receiving a new quality certification for its co-funded and non-funded project management services.
Specifically, on Monday, July 5, 2021, a ceremony was held to award ERGOSE the Quality Management System Certificate of Conformity according to the international standard ISO 9001:2015 by the certification body TÜV HELLAS (TÜV NORD).
Since 2002 ERGOSE has a certified Quality Assurance System according to the ISO 9001 standard for the management services of co-financed (or not) projects concerning the planning, studies, services, supplies and construction of railway projects.
The company has been providing its services for more than 24 consecutive years and has ensured the necessary organisational, structural and systems competence to respond effectively and reliably to the implementation of co-funded projects.
This competence of ERGOSE is based on:
– Its significant expertise in the management and supervision of high-speed rail infrastructure projects, such as long tunnels in difficult geotechnical terrain, long railway bridges constructed using advanced technology methods, with the simultaneous integration of highly advanced seismic design systems (e.g. seismic insulation), as well as projects involving the installation of modern signalling, telecommand, telecommunications systems and electrification and railway superstructure works.
– The qualified and experienced human resources, including certified Project Manager Professionals.
– The appropriate organization of services covering all the areas necessary for the execution of the projects (supervision, quality control, health and safety, support services, etc.)
– In the certified Quality Management System according to ISO 9001:2015
– In the certified Health & Safety System Safety and Security according to ISO 45001:2018
– The innovative Management Information System (MIS) that covers all the company’s functions.
The awarding of the Certificate was held by the CEO of TÜV HELLAS (TÜV NORD) Mr. Savvas Pelteki, in the presence of Ms. Vasiliki Kalambokidou, Vice President System Certification of TÜV HELLAS (TÜV NORD) at a special event at the offices of ERGOSE, with the participation of the company’s management.
Mr. Christos Vinis, Chairman of the Board and CEO of ERGOSE, said that the re-certification of ERGOSE’s Quality System with the 9001:20015 standard confirms that ERGOSE’s Management is consistently taking all the necessary steps to implement the strategic objectives and vision of the company, providing specialized services for the management of railway projects, as well as other major projects at national and international level.
