Improvements in the C. Macedonia Network
The project involves local improvements on the railway network, such as Underpasses, Railway Stops and Railway Bridges.
Upgrading of SKA – Oinoi
he project involves upgrading the existing railway line from Acharnes Traffic Center (SKA) to the existing Railway Station of Inoi, totalling approx. 52 km.
Upgrading of Thessaloniki – Promahonas
The project involves the installation of electrification along the Thessaloniki – Strymonas – Promachonas rail corridor, 143 km long.
Signalling-Telecommunications
The Trans-European System ERTMS (European Railways Traffic Management System) which comprises the systems ETCS (European Traffic Control System) and GSM – R (Global System Mobile for Rail), radically enhances traffic safety, while at the same time ensuring the interoperability between railway networks as required by the European Union.
Underpasses in Menemeni Municipality, Thessaloniki
The project involves the elimination of the existing level crossing for vehicles and pedestrians at Ch. 0+902,10 of the Thessaloniki – Florina railway line.
Kiato – Rododafni (Aigio) (Infrastructure, Superstructure, Signalling, Stations)
he project involves the construction of a new double railway line, approximately 7.1 km long, in the section from the new Kiato RS to Rododaphni, after the Aigio RS, with signalling, telecommanding, telecommunications and E/M for tunnels.
Tithorea – Domokos
The project involves the construction of the New Double High Speed Railway Line Tithorea – Lianokladi – Domokos which replaces the mountainous part of the existing single line, 122 km long, with a New Double High Speed Railway Line, 106 km long.
Thriassio Pedio Complex (Phase Β’)
The project involves the construction of a modern complex in Thriassio Pedio, where the railway and freight activities will be accumulated, which are currently interspersed in facilities all over the capital.
